Building a new home means a lot of moving parts, and it helps to know what's coming before you start. Our client journey brochure sets out exactly what to expect when you build with us, whether you've already secured your block and plans or you're still working through the details.
We've written the brochure the way we'd explain things in person: clearly, honestly and without unnecessary jargon, so it's easy to share with your partner, your designer or anyone else helping you weigh up your options and make an informed decision.
Consultation and design
It starts with your land and vision: your site, your budget, your timeframe and must-haves, along with a site feasibility review covering things like easements, overhead powerlines, council conditions and stormwater access. From there, we walk through the design process step by step, from the initial design agreement and brief through to concept plans, working drawings and the detailed quote used to price your project accurately.
Contract and permits
Once you're ready to move ahead, the brochure explains the contract stage in full: your quote, the Master Builders New Home Contract, your contract pack, warranty insurance, deposit and building permit, so you know exactly what's being signed and when.
Construction, stage by stage
The construction section then breaks the build down stage by stage — deposit, base, frame, steel, roof, windows, lock-up, internal linings, joinery, carpentry fix and final stage — with clear information on what's happening at each point and when the related invoice is due, so payments never come as a surprise. It finishes with what happens after handover, including your defect liability period and structural warranty, so you know you're supported well beyond the final walkthrough.
